The Cocoon mattress is the perfect balance of pressure relief and firmness so it’s a great mattress for side sleepers, people with back, back and stomach sleepers. Memory foam in general does a good job of making sure to spread the weight evenly across the whole body. This is important for people who need support in sensitive areas.
The Cocoon Chill’s layers include a comfort layer that hugs the body and offers pressure relief. The second and third layers are designed to support the natural curve of the spine which is why it's a great mattress for side sleepers. Keep in mind that overall the Cocoon Chill is a firmer mattress so it’s also supportive enough for stomach and back sleepers.

If you are looking for a mattress with good control on motion transfer then you’re doing the right thing by looking at a memory foam mattress. Typically an all foam mattress does a better job of absorbing movement because they don’t have the responsiveness of coils within its layers. With that in mind, the Cocoon Chill memory foam mattress reduces the movement and vibrations very well due to its foam construction which hugs your body’s movement.

The Cocoon mattress is a decent mattress for sex because of several factors including its memory foam construction which enables it to be virtually silent. Typically a good mattress for sex rates highly in responsiveness, bounce, cooling and edge support. As a memory foam mattress, responsiveness and bounce are less present in the Cocoon but compared to other memory foam mattresses, the Cocoon Chill has enough cooling features and traction to help make it an enjoyable experience.

Like all foam mattresses, the Cocoon Chill memory foam mattress does emit an odor after it’s unpacked from its box. The odor is not considered harmful and it should dissipate after 24-72 hours.
Side sleepers are typically looking for the right balance between soft contouring comfort and a durable surface that will support the sensitive areas that absorb the most pressure from sleeping on their side. This usually includes their hips and shoulders.
The Cocoon Chill is firmer than an average “medium” so it does both these things. Cocoon mattress reviews say that overall the mattress is not too soft and not too firm, just right in between.
